i just realized that i have a really weird compulsion about the way i eat smarties- in pairs, and the colours must be the same, but i save the red ones for last. if i have no pairs before the last red ones at the end (which i also eat in pairs), i make the best possible colour schemes with them. a solo non-red smartie at the end then gets combined with the first red to form a pair. god, i'm fucked.
